Deepning of
knowledge on the different tecniques of subsoil
exploration. Main phases of valorization of a
mineral deposit. Methods of exploration under
open sky. Methods of exploration of ornamental
rocks. Methods of underground exploration.
Analysis of environmental impact.

Qualifications:

Development of
relationship capacities and application of given
concepts. Development of practical capacities in
the resolution of problems on transportation and
ventilation and dimensioning of fire diagrams.

Main phases of
valorization of a mineral deposit. Methods of
exploration under open sky: perforation,
escavation and transportation operations;
planning; exploitation methods of ornamental
rocks; introduction to underground exploration
methods: perforation, transportation, energy
and ventilation; dismounting methods; planning;
security; environmental impact.

Study visits to Portuguese companies; problem resolutions of
transportation and ventilation, dimensioning of
fire diagrams.
