Objectives:

Deepning of knowledge on Geophysics. Magnetic,
electric, electromagnetic and radiometric methods:
theorectical principles. Applications in diverse
fields of resource exploration and engeneering
problems. Techniques on processing, modelation and
interpretation of data. Environmental protection.

Qualifications:

Knowledge
and comprehension of the theorectical principles
of the magnetic, electric, electromagnetic and
radiometric methods and its applications in
engineering. Development of
practical and instrumental qualifications in the
domain of the techniques of processing, modelation
and interpretation of
data.

Theoretical:

Magnetic methods: fundamental concepts, equipment,
data acquisition, processing, modelation and
interpretation. Electric and electromagnetic
methods: fundamental concepts, equipment,
data acquisition, processing, modelation and
interpretation. Radar. Radiometric methods.
Drilling diagraphs. Applications on
resource exploration, engineering problems and
environmental protection. Applications integrated
of diverse geophysical methods.
