Objectives:

Deepning of knowledge of the field work techniques
in geosciences. Orientation techniques. Survey of
stratigraphical columns. Data handling. |
Qualifications:

Development
of qualifications on relationship and application
of concepts given in different subjects, normally
in the areas of sedimentology and stratigraphy.
Acquisition of qualifications on planning,
structure and execution of practical
investigations. Development of organization
capacities and team work.

Field campaign of
1 week duration, for deepning of knowledge on the following topics: orientation
and observation techniques and description of the principal
geologic aspects in the field. Data collection;
sampling; survey of topographical columns.

Tutorials:

Handling
of data obtained in office and laboratory. Planification,
elaboration and presentation of a written report
and/or
poster.
