Objectives:

Deepning of knowledge of the field work techniques
in geosciences: orientation techniques; geological
cartography; structural measurement and
interpretation techniques; data handling.

Qualifications:

Development
of qualifications on relationship and application
of concepts given in different subjects. Acquisition of qualifications on planning,
structure and execution of practical
investigations. Development of organizational
capacities and team work.

Field campaign of
1 week duration, for deepning of knowledge on the following topics: observation
and description of the principal
geologic aspects in the field; geological
cartography; structural measurement and
interpretation techniques;
data collection;
sampling; preparation of charts and cuts.

Tutorials:

Handling
of data obtained in office and the petrographic laboratory. Planification,
elaboration and presentation of a report
and/or
poster.
